In the Maule Valley, terroirs with a high percentage of clay determine the mineral character of our wines. The cold evening breezes from the Andes mountains caress our vineyards, causing extreme fluctuations in temperature. The resulting wines are intense in colour, full of fresh fruit, highly concentrated and with mature tannins, delivering a well-balanced palate.

Wine of deep, violet-red colour. The bouquet has intense aromas of fresh red fruits, strawberries, morello cherries and delicate hints of chocolate from the aging process. On the palate it is well-structured, smooth, fresh and round and reveals candied fruits, white pepper, vanilla and notes of chocolate. This wine has a long fruity finish.

The grapes of our own production, were selected and manually harvested. Then they underwent a cold maceration for ten days, followed by fermentation with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 27ºC. The wine then underwent malolactic fermentation in french barrels, where it was aged for twelve months.

Winemaker's comments:

This Reserva Privada is deep purple-red colour. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of fresh red fruit including strawberries and cherries and delicate nuances of chocolate from the ageing process. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, smooth, fresh and rounded, unveiling candied fruit, white pepper, vanilla and notes of chocolate. The finish is long and fruity.

Food Pairings:

This wine is ideal with lamb, wild game birds, fish with wine sauce and chocolate desserts. Best served at between 16ºC - 18ºC.
