In the Maule Valley, terroirs with a high percentage of clay determine the mineral character of our wines. The cold evening breezes from the Andes mountains caress our vineyards, causing extreme fluctuations in temperature. The resulting wines are intense in colour, full of fresh fruit, highly concentrated and with mature tannins, delivering a well-balanced palate.
This is a ruby red wine with notes of violet. It has fresh aromas of black morello cherries and a spicy finish with a smooth toasty touch. The palate reveals a combination of structure and smoothness, dominated by black fruits, tobacco and vanilla with Sweetness of tannins which give over to a smooth, lingering finish.
Recommended with red meat, stew, roast turkey, patés and salty cheeses. Serve at between 16°C (61°F) and 18°C (64°F).

Winemaking:Selected grapes of our own production were carefully hand-harvested and then subjected to cold maceration for ten days prior to fermentation. Fermentation with selected yeasts took place in stainless steel tanks at 25°C. 40% of the wine was then aged in French and American oak barrels for six months. After blending the two varieties, the wine was kept for another three months in American and French oak barrels.
Winemaker's Comments:This Reserva wine is ruby-red in colour with violet notes. The bouquet reveals fresh aromas of black cherries and a spicy finish combined with a gentle toasted note. Structure and smoothness combine on the palate. Dominated by black fruit, tobacco and vanilla, this wine has Sweetness of tannins that bring out a smooth, long finish.
Food Pairings:Ideal with red meat, stew, roast turkey, pate and salty cheese.
